Safety instructions

This manual covers operation and maintenance of the tiller. All information in this publication is based on the latest product, information available at the time
of approval for printing. We reserves the right to make changes at any time without notice and without incurring any obligation.
This manual should be considered a permanent part of the tiller and remain with it if it is resold.
Pay special attention to statements preceded by the following words.

operating the tiller. Failure to do so could result in personal injury or equipment damage.

WARNING: To ensure safe operation
For your safety and safety of others. Please pay special attention to these precautions.
The rotating parts are sharp and they turn at high speed. Accidental con-
tact can cause serious injury.
Keep your hands and feet away from the parts while engine is running .
Stop the engine and disengage the tines clutch before inspection or main-
tenance of tines.
Disconnect the spark plug cap to prevent any possibility of accidental start-
ing .Wear heavy gloves to protect your hands from the tines when clearing
the tines or when inspecting or replacing the tines.
Operator's Responsibility
Keep the tiller in good operating condition. Operating a tiller in poor or questionable condition could result in serious injury.
Be sure all safety devices are in working order and warning labels are in place. These items are installed for you safety.
Be sure the safety covers (Fan cover, recoil starter cover) are in place.
Know how to stop the engine and tines quickly in case of emergency. Understand the use of all controls.
Keep a firm hold on the handlebars, they may tend to lift during clutch engagement.
Training
1) read the instructions carefully. Be familiar with the controls and the proper use of the equipment;
2) never allow children or people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the machine. Local regulations can restrict the age of the operator;
3) never work while people, especially children, or pets are nearby;
4) keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible or accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their property.
Preparation
1) while working, always wear substantial footwear and long trousers. Do not operate the equipment when barefoot or wearing open sandals;
2) thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment is to be used and remove all objects which can be thrown up by the machine;
3) WARNING: Petrol is highly flammable!
- Store fuel in containers specifically designed for this purpose;
- Refuel outdoors only and do not smoke while refuelling;
- Add fuel before starting the engine. Never remove the cap of the fuel tank or add petrol while the engine is running or when the engine is hot;
- If petrol is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine but move the machine away from the area of spillage and avoid creating any source of ignition until
petrol vapours have dissipated;
- Replace all fuel tank and container caps securely;
4) replace faulty silencers;
5) before using, always visually inspect to see that the tools are not worn or damaged. Replace worn or damaged elements and bolts in sets to preserve
