OPTIONAL BIRCH LOG SET INSTALLATION

BIRCH LOG INSTALLATION
Read the instructions below carefully and refer to the images. If the logs are broken do not use the unit until they are replaced. Broken
logs can interfere with pilot operation.
Improper positioning of the logs may create carbon build-up and can alter the unit's performance which is not covered under warranty.
*Paint is included if touch ups are required.

NOTE: If installing the optional Brick Panels, install Panels prior to in-
stalling the logs.

1. S hut off gas and electrical supply, allow unit to cool to room temperature.
2. Open the front door of the unit, see manual for detailed instructions.
3. Carefully remove the logs from the packaging and unwrap them.
The logs are fragile, handle with care—never force into position.
4. Sprinkle the vermiculite and embers around the firebox base.

5. Install Log A by lining up the pins on the log bracket with the pin loca-
tors on Log A.

6. Install Log B by placing on burner as shown below.

7. Install Log C - rest one end on the 2nd grate tab from the left and
the other end will rest on Logs A + B on a diagonal as shown below.
