These units use the neutral terminal only for measurement purposes, and it is possible to work without the
neutral cable, stay connected to grid and inject power from the PV array. However, there are regulations that
require monitoring the grid phase voltage, either during normal operation or during the grid transients. In this
case failure to include the neutral cable may imply a non-compliance with the requirements of said regulation.
