4-3-2 Connecting common terminals

Connect IN COM.(X2) and OUT COM.(Y2) respectively to the power supply to supply power for input and output.
Common terminals (IN COM. or OUT COM.) on the I/O connector and the I/O terminal block are connected internally.
Supply the power to the one side of IN COM. and OUT COM.

• Do not invert the power wiring of I/O terminal and I/O connector. It may cause a failure.
• Do not short-circuit 24V OUT (X1, Y3) and 0V OUT (Y1, X3). Also, do not short-circuit IN COM. (X2) and OUT COM. (Y2,
X12, X15, X18). Starting the laser processing machine with these terminals short-circuited will cause the laser processing
machine to malfunction.
• Do not mix up with the external and internal power supplies.
• Do not mix the NPN and PNP connecting patterns.
• If you use the internal power supply of the I/O terminal block, make sure that the total load does not exceed 300mA.
• If you control the laser processing machine by the external power such as PLC, do not connect anything to the internal
power 24V OUT (X1, Y3) or 0V OUT (X3, Y1) of the I/O terminal block. If a short bar is installed, remove it.
• OUT COM. terminals of Y2, X12, X15 and X18 are the common terminal connected internally. Supply the power to one of
them.
