Power over Ethernet (PoE) is intended for indoor use only. It is to be connected only
to networks or circuits that are not routed to the outside plant or building.
•

The installation must always be in accordance with the applicable provisions of

Power supply voltage polarity is critical. Incorrect voltage polarity can damage the

Blinking — The unit is receiving power, either locally or via PoE and is booting up.

Lit — The unit is receiving power, either locally or remotely (via PoE) and is
operational.
CONFIGURATION port — This USB-C port can be used to configure the encoder
and to update firmware.
