Adding or Replacing DIMMS

Warning
To minimize the risk of electrical shock, disconnect power to the appliance
before you open the appliance.
Caution
Protect the appliance and protect DIMMs from electric static
discharge (ESD) by ensuring that you are properly grounded before
you touch internal components.
To add or replace DIMMs
1. Turn off power to the appliance and remove the power cord from the
socket on the rear of the appliance.
Confirm that the two rack fans are no longer turning.
2. Remove the three screws from the top rear of the appliance.
3. Remove the power supply unit and fan tray assembly from the rear of the
appliance.
4. The top cover has four pins on the left and right sides.
