Description
The PLC program is using an
invalid output.
A PLC program has shut down
the generator using the PLC
ESTOP output. The alarm code in
the alarm log indicates which
PLC program has activated the
PLC ESTOP output.
Multiple PLC programs are using
the same Digital Output Function
as an output. The program
number in the alarm log indicates
the original PLC program with the
Digital Output Function, while the
alarm code indicates the other
PLC program with the duplicate
Digital Output Function.
Shutdown condition has occurred
as AVR Excitation Output 1 has
been configured by the user as a
PWM.
Shutdown condition has occurred
as AVR Excitation Output 2 has
been configured by the user as a
PWM.
Set Alarm
This alarm is set if a PLC
program identifies a rung
using an invalid output. An
output can be invalid if it is
not supported, not an
output, or not allowed for
use by the PLC.
A PLC program contains
the PLC ESTOP as an
output, and it has met the
conditions required in the
PLC program to activate
this output.
This alarm is set if the PLC
recognizes there are
multiple programs using the
same Digital Output
Function as an output.
When the AVR on the Main
Controller is configured as
"GENERAC PWR AVR",
the AVR Excitation output 1
is checked that it is not
used by the user as a PWM
Signal. If it is configured as
a PWM then this Shutdown
Alarm is set.
When the AVR on the Main
Controller is configured as
"GENERAC PWR AVR",
the AVR Excitation output 2
is checked that it is not
used by the user as a PWM
Signal. If it is configured as
a PWM then this Shutdown
Alarm is set.
Troubleshooting
Clear Alarm
Find the invalid output in
the listed PLC program
and modify it to a valid
output.
Turn the keyswitch to
OFF. Clear the alarm
using the Display. If the
alarm does not clear,
check the conditions of
the PLC program. The
conditions set in the PLC
program cannot be met
for the output to become
inactive.
Turn the keyswitch to
OFF. Determine which
PLC program is
incorrectly using a
duplicate Digital Output
Function. Change the
output to another
available Digital Output
Function. Clear the
alarm using the Display.
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Disable the PWM
Channel and save the
configuration. Clear the
shutdown alarm using
the Display.
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Disable the PWM
Channel and save the
configuration. Clear the
shutdown alarm using
the Display.
