Description
Any analog input function code
can be assigned to any analog
input channel. This alarm will
occur when an analog input
function code has been assigned
to more than one analog input
channel.
Any digital input function code
can be assigned to any digital
input channel. This alarm will
occur when a digital input
function code has been assigned
to more than one digital input
channel.
Lost J1939 CAN bus
communications with MotorTech
MIC3+ Ignition Module.
Set Alarm
Throughout the full list of
analog input channels, at
least one function code has
been assigned to more
than one channel. The
alarm log message's alarm
code displays the highest
of the channel numbers
using the function code that
is defined multiple times.
Throughout the full list of
digital input channels, at
least one function code has
been assigned to more
than one channel. The
alarm log message's alarm
code displays the highest
of the channel numbers
using the function code that
is defined multiple times.
No J1939 CAN bus
messages have been
received from the MIC3 in
the expected time frame.
Troubleshooting
Clear Alarm
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Use the Display to
open the Analog Input
Mapping page. Using
this page and the alarm
code in the alarm log
message, determine the
function code causing
the alarm. Search
through the rest of the
analog input channels
on the page to find the
other channel(s) using
the function code.
Determine where to
correctly use the
offending function code
and then remove the
function code from the
other channel(s). Once
complete, clear the
alarm using the Display.
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Use the Display to
open the Digital Input
Mapping page. Using
this page and the alarm
code in the alarm log
message, determine the
function code causing
the alarm. Search
through the rest of the
digital input channels on
the page to find the other
channel(s) using the
function code.
Determine where to
correctly use the
offending function code
and then remove the
function code from the
other channel(s). Once
complete, clear the
alarm using the Display.
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Verify CAN bus
communications
between the Main
Controller and the MIC3.
Clear the shutdown
alarm using the Display.
