Owner's Manual for Power Zone Pro Sync
Description
The Main Controller did not
detect generator output voltage
on at least one phase for 20
seconds while the generator was
running. This is likely due to one
or more of the alternator voltage
phases shorting or a sense wire
disconnecting.
This warning indicates this
generator is required to have
emissions OBD DTCs enabled,
but they are not enabled.
This DTC indicates there are one
or more emissions DTCs active.
Its primary function is to indicate
to the operator there is an
emissions control issue that
needs to be addressed.
This DTC indicates the O
reading is not toggling between
rich and lean when expected.
This alarm indicates that the
parameters for Air/Fuel ratio
control are invalid. They need to
be corrected to prevent improper
operation of the Air/Fuel ratio
control or nuisance emissions
faults. Failure to correct the
settings could result in damage to
the engine or emissions control
system.
Set Alarm
There was no generator
voltage on at least one
phase for 20 seconds while
there should be.
The generator is rated at
100 kW or higher, it uses
propane for fuel, and it has
active Air/Fuel ratio control,
but the OBD DTCs are not
enabled.
This DTC is set when any
other emissions DTC is
active.
sensor
This DTC is set when the
2
emissions algorithm is
running closed loop for
more than one minute
without the O
crossing the rich/lean
threshold at least once.
Each engine type can have
different thresholds and
different closed loop
operation conditions. This
fault is repeatedly set until
the O
sensor has operated
2
without error for at least
three consecutive run
cycles.
At least one Air/Fuel ratio
control setting is out of
range.
Clear Alarm
Turn the keyswitch to
OFF. Verify all voltage
sensing connections and
fuses. Verify no shorted
phases. Clear the
shutdown alarm using
the Display.
Verify the OBD system is
enabled. Clear the alarm
using the Display.
The DTC can be cleared
after all other emissions
DTCs are no longer
active. Clear this DTC
using the Display.
The DTC cannot be
cleared until after the
third run cycle when the
DTC condition no longer
sensor
exists. Clear the DTC
2
using the Display.
Verify and correct the
Air/Fuel ratio control
settings. Clear the alarm
using the Display.
