Owner's Manual for Power Zone Pro Sync
Description
The associated Function Code
has not been assigned to a
channel and a feature has been
enabled that needs that Function
Code assigned.
An example is enabling motorized
breaker or contactor control, but
not assigning FC DI GEN
SWITCH OPEN to a digital input
channel.
The generators are configured as
an MPS, and more than half of
the generators in the MPS have
clocks that are not in sync with
one another.
There is an Engine Relay Setting
outof tolerance. These settings
must be fixed via the XML.
The engine is running, but the
RPM sensor is reading invalid
RPM for three seconds. However,
the engine frequency is within
normal range. The Display will
show this warning, shut down the
generator, and then restart. The
Governor will switch to governing
off engine frequency instead of
RPM.
The engine is running, but the
RPM sensor and frequency are
too low for ten milliseconds.
One or more of the internal
voltage references is ± 0.2V out
of its respective range for more
than 0.5 seconds. There are +5V,
-5V, 3.3V, and 36V voltage
references in the Main Controller.
Set Alarm
The associated Function
Code is required with the
current configuration, but it
is not assigned to a
channel.
The alarm is set when the
majority of generators in a
MPS do not have clocks
that match with one
another. This alarm can
also be set if a generator
has a default clock.
Alarm is set when one or
more of the Engine Relay
Settings out of tolerance.
Alarm is set if the RPM
sensor reads below 400
RPM for 3 seconds, but
frequency indicates normal
operation.
Alarm is set if RPM sensor
reads below 400 RPM and
frequency is below 20 Hz
for ten milliseconds.
The alarm is set if any
voltage reference falls
above or below 0.2V of its
nominal voltage.
Troubleshooting
Clear Alarm
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Verify the correct
features are enabled.
Verify the correct I/O is
setup. Clear the
Shutdown Alarm using
the Display.
Set the time on the
master generator in the
MPS, or on the
generator producing the
alarm. Verify the other
generators display the
same time. Clear the
alarm using the Display.
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Download the .xml
file from the Main
Controller, correct the
relay settings, and
upload the corrected
.xml file back into the
Main Controller, Clear
the alarm using the
Display.
Alarm will clear if the
RPM sensor begins
sensing RPM above
400, or the keyswitch is
turned OFF.
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Verify the Engine
Speed sensor is
functioning properly.
Clear the shutdown
alarm using the Display.
Turn the Keyswitch to
OFF. Power cycle the
Main Controller. Clear
the shutdown alarm
using the Display.
