Description
The Fiat Power Train (FPT) ECU
module detected the engine
exceeded its overspeed
threshold.
The FPT ECU module detected
the engine coolant temperature
exceeded the limit to trigger a
warning.
The FPT ECU module detected
the engine coolant temperature
exceeded the limit to trigger an
alarm.
The FPT ECU module detected
the engine oil pressure exceeded
the limit to trigger an alarm.
The FPT ECU module detected
the engine oil temperature
exceeded the limit to trigger an
alarm.
The FPT ECU module detected a
condition which requires it to
reduce the engine speed or
torque to protect the engine.
This warning is the same as
"J1939 ACTIVE ECU STOP
LIGHT" above except it is a
warning for the Volvo ECUs.
Since the Volvo ECU uses the
CAN bus as its secondary bus, it
can prematurely transmit a
shutdown fault indication before it
has finalized its determination to
shut down. This can result in a
nuisance shutting down of the
generator. Therefore, on Volvo
powered generators, this warning
indicates a pending shutdown
condition.

LIGHT" shutdown alarm will
set.
