General
For optimum performance from this machine, this
maintenance schedule must be strictly followed.
Ongoing
To minimize your risk of injury and maintain proper
machine operation, shut down the machine immediately
if you ever observe any of the items below, and fix the
problem before continuing operations:
Lubricate conveyor roller bushings (Page 32).

Loose mounting bolts.
•
Worn or damaged sandpaper rolls.
•
Worn or damaged wires.
•
Any other unsafe condition.
Weekly Maintenance
•
Clean/vacuum dust buildup from underneath dust
hood.
•
Clean/vacuum dust buildup from inside cabinet and
off motors.
Lubricate pillow bearings (Page 32).
•
Monthly Check
•
V-belt tension, damage, or wear (Page 44).
•
Lubricate worm gear, table height leadscrews, and
sprockets (Page 33).
Cleaning & Protecting
Cleaning the Model W1678 is relatively easy. Vacuum excess
sawdust, and wipe off the remaining dust with a dry cloth.
If any resin has built up, use a resin dissolving cleaner to
remove it.
