16 Serial Trigger and Decode
16.1 Overview
The SDS800X HD supports serial bus trigger and decoding on the following serial bus protocols: I2C,
SPI, UART, CAN and LIN.
Press the Setup button on the front panel or touch the trigger descriptor box, and then select the
Type as Serial in the trigger dialog box to set the serial trigger:
A. Select the type as Serial
B. Select the serial bus protocol
C. Set the signal, including the mapping relation between
channels and bus signals, and the thresholds
D. Trigger setting
Touch the Analysis > Decode to turn on the serial decode dialog box:
A. Set the list of decode result
B. Select the bus to set, Bus1 and Bus2
C. Turn on/off the bus
D. Set the bus display
E. Select the serial bus protocol
F.
Touch to set the signal, including the mapping relation
between channels and bus signals, and the thresholds.
This is similar to the signal setting of a serial trigger
G. Configure the bus protocol
H. Synchronize the settings between a serial trigger and
decode
