The ignition switch is located just above the left-front fender.
It is a key-operated switch with two positions: OFF and ON.

2. ON position
Before starting the engine, insert the key into the switch and turn it
clockwise to the ON position. To remove the key, turn it to the OFF po-
sition and then pull it out. Always remove the key when the vehicle is
not in use or when transporting the vehicle.
Even if the engine can be stopped by turning the ignition key to the
OFF position, it is greatly recommended to use the emergency engine
stop switch. However, do not forget to turn the ignition key to the OFF
position after stopping the engine with the emergency engine stop
switch to avoid draining the battery.

Low fuel. The vehicle can continue to
operate for another 11 - 16 km (7 - 10
mi).
Flashing: Overheated engine. Engine
power is automatically reduced.
Continuous: An EFI fault has
occurred. To avoid serious engine
damage, do not operate the vehicle.
Consult an authorized Can-Am
Off-road dealer.
