1. Release the throttle and completely stop the vehicle.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Set the transmission lever to the forward (F) position.
4. Set the emergency engine stop switch to the STOP position.
5. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
6. Remove the key from the ignition switch.

1. Let engine idle to warm up.
2. Apply brakes and set the transmission selector lever to "F" (for-
ward), or "R" (reverse).
3. Release brakes.
