1. These vehicles are equipped with a VRLA battery (Valve Regu-
lated Lead Acid). It is a maintenance-free type battery, and there is
no need to add water to adjust the electrolyte level.
2. Clean the battery posts with a wire brush. Apply dielectric grease
on the posts to protect against oxidation.

1. Inspect battery connections for tightness and cleanliness.
2. Inspect battery support.
