Ensure that the engine oil/temperature
indicator lamp is off (if the light stays on, shut
the engine off).
Check the operation of the transmission
lever (F, N, and R).
Slowly drive forward over a very short
distance. Apply both brake levers
individually. The brakes must fully apply. The
levers must return to their rest positions
when released.
Check that the emergency engine stop
switch is working properly.
Check that the ignition switch is working
properly by stopping and restarting the
engine.
