1. Drain plug
2. Allow any water to drain from the cover.
3. Reinstall the drain plug.
4. Move the transmission lever to neutral (N).
5. Apply the parking brake.
6. Start the engine and vary the throttle for 10–15 seconds. This will
dry the CVT internal components. Do not keep the throttle fully
open for more than a few seconds.
7. Allow the engine to slow to idle speed.
8. Test for slippage of the CVT belt. If the belt slips, repeat the above
steps.
