2. Remove the battery from the vehicle.

1. Clean battery, battery casing, cables and battery posts using a sol-
ution of baking soda and water.
2. Remove corrosion from battery cable terminals and battery posts
using a firm wire brush. Battery top should be cleaned using a soft
brush and any grease-cutting soap or baking soda solution.
3. Apply dielectric grease or an equivalent on battery posts to protect
against oxidation.

The installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
