7. Clean the oil strainer screen with solvent and then allow it to dry.
8. Clean the drain plug.
9. Install a new sealing washer on the drain plug.
10. Reassemble the oil strainer screen and spring onto the drain plug.
11. Clean the sealing surface on the engine. Make sure it is free from
burrs.
12. Reinstall the drain plug. Tighten it to the specified torque.

13. Remove the dipstick.

14. Refill the engine with recommended engine oil. Do not overfill. Re-
fer to Technical Specifications for the capacity.
15. Reinstall the dipstick.
16. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes. Ensure that the
drain plug area is not leaking.
17. Stop the engine. Wait a few minutes to allow the oil to flow down in-
to the crankcase, then recheck the oil level. Adjust if necessary.
18. Dispose of used oil according to local environmental regulations.
