6. Manually rotate the right-front wheel as you tighten the bottom ad-
justment screw on the RH brake lever.
7. When there is a slight drag on the wheel, loosen the adjustment
screw one full turn.
8. Check that the RH brake lever works properly and that the free
play is correct.
9. Tighten all locknuts.
10. Carefully remove the jack stand and lower the vehicle to the
ground.

Place the vehicle on a level surface.
Move the transmission lever to neutral (N).
Lift the rear of vehicle until the rear tires are just off the ground. Sup-
port the frame using a jack stand.
Manually rotate the rear wheels as you tighten the adjuster on the rear
brake drum.

1. Brake cable adjuster
When there is a slight drag on the wheels, loosen the adjuster one full
turn.
Verify that the LH brake lever works properly and that it comes back to
its original position.
Check that the LH brake lever free play is correct.
Carefully remove the jack stand and lower the vehicle to the ground.
