This vehicle is equipped with an adjustable speed limiter screw on the
throttle lever housing. The speed limiter prevents the throttle from
being fully opened, even when the throttle lever is pushed fully for-
ward. This limits the available engine power and, therefore, vehicle
speed.

BRP recommends that all beginners start off with the speed limiter
screw turned in while they learn.
Adults can gradually adjust the speed limiter screw to increase the
maximum speed as the beginner becomes more familiar with the oper-
ation of the vehicle. Refer to the following table.
