1. Muffler cover
2. Remove screws
2. Remove the spark arrester from the muffler.

3. Remove any carbon deposits from the spark arrester screen.

4. Inspect the screen for damage. Replace as necessary.
5. Reinstall the spark arrester in the muffler.
6. Reinstall the muffler cover.
