1. 2 to 3 mm (.08 to .012 in)
2. If the free play is out of specification, adjust the front and rear
brakes.
3. Always service the brakes when stopping ability is not sufficient.

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Move the transmission lever to neutral (N).
3. Lift the front of the vehicle until the front tires are just off the
ground. Support the frame using a jack stand.
4. Manually rotate the left-front wheel as you tighten the top adjust-
ment screw on the RH brake lever.

1. Adjustment screws
2. Locknuts
5. When there is a slight drag on the wheel, loosen the adjustment
screw one full turn.
