PREPARE TO RIDE distracted by adverse environmental elements. In case of a crash, good quality protective gear made of sturdy material may prevent or reduce injury. In cool-weather riding, protect yourself against hypothermia. Hypothermia, a con- dition of low body temperature, can cause loss of concentration, slowed reac- tions and loss of smooth, precise muscle movement.

AVOID ACCIDENTS – Never grab the cage while riding. Hands can be crushed between the cage and the ground in a rollover. Keep hands on the steering wheel or handholds. – Never try to stop a rollover using your arms or legs. If you think that the ve- hicle may tip or roll, the driver should keep both hands on the steering wheel and the left foot firmly planted on the footrest.

RIDING YOUR VEHICLE To maintain proper control it is strongly advised that you keep your hands on the steering wheel and within easy reach of all controls. The same holds true for your feet. To minimize the possibility of any leg or foot injury, keep your left foot on the footrest and right foot on the floor at all times.

RIDING YOUR VEHICLE Due to its configuration, this vehicle has very good traction even while climbing, so much so that tip over is possible before traction is lost. For example, it is com- mon to encounter terrain situations where the top of the hill has eroded to a point that the hill peak rises very sharply.
