12. Operating Simcenter SCADAS RS

UPS Unit LEDs

The UPS Unit has three status LEDs, each with a specific function.
UPS Unit status LED states
Idle state
Shutdown (via button or remote)
UPS Unit power LED states
OFF and no DC power
Power buffer FULL and DC power
Power buffer not FULL and DC power (charging)
Power buffer discharging
Power buffer discharging and power buffer is low
DC power is present, no battery is being charged (high load, or over-
temperature, or battery failure)
Switching on or shutting down because of power overload, over-
temperature, battery too low, or general error
