14. Maintenance and calibration
• Rinse the units thoroughly off with lukewarm tap water.
• Wipe the units dry with a lint-free cloth.

Calibration

Simcenter SCADAS RS signal conditioning units are factory calibrated and are accompanied by a
calibration report. We recommend having your Simcenter SCADAS RS equipment calibrated on a yearly
basis by our Customer Support team through either a maintenance or calibration contract.
In case you or your organization require a calibration under accreditation that is formally traceable
to international measurement standards we offer calibrations in our accredited factory calibration
laboratory that is fully compliant with the requirements of the ISO 17025:2017 standard and is
registered with the Dutch Accreditation Council (www.rva.nl) under scope K159. Please contact your
local Siemens support organization for calibration of your Simcenter SCADAS RS equipment.
