106 SETTING

MIRRORS

Adjusting the mirrors
Move mirror into the desired
position by pressing lightly on
the edge of the glass.

HEADLIGHT

Headlight adjustment, right-
hand/left-hand traffic
This motorcycle's headlight
features a symmetrical low
beam. No special adjustments
or procedures are required
prior to operating the motor-
cycle in a country where traf-
fic travels on the side of the
road opposite to that of your
home country (left-hand drive
to right-hand drive or vice ver-
sa).
Headlamp range and spring
preload
The headlight range gener-
ally remains constant due to
the adjustment of the spring
preload to the loading state.
If there are doubts as
to the correct headlight
range, have the setting checked
by a repair shop, preferably by
an authorized BMW Motorrad
dealer.

BRAKE

Setting the brake lever
WARNING
Adjusting the brake lever
while driving
Risk of accident
Do not attempt to adjust
the brake lever unless the
motorcycle is at a standstill.
Turn the adjustment wheel 1
into the desired position.
