Depending on the mounting height, the detection characteristics change.
As the mounting height increases, the sensitivity and detection density decrease. In the
example graphic the movement of the bottom hand is no longer detected because it does not
cut across any additional sectors. The Busch-Presence detector is too far removed from it.
Optimally, seated persons are detected at a maximum mounting height of 3.5 m.
Depending on the application, a high resolution is not required and a greater mounting height is
possible (e.g. in storage rooms, corridors, gymnasiums).
