The name of the currently loaded preset is displayed first. If there's a star (*) after the name,
it indicates that the current settings in AFCC don't match what's saved in the preset – in other
words, there are unsaved edits. These will be lost if you don't save the preset before loading
another one.
Click on the preset name to change it to something you'll quickly recognize, like "Synth Mix"
or "Voiceover". Preset names can be up to 12 characters long.
NOTE: Renaming a preset and saving an edited preset are two separate operations – you can save
a preset without renaming it, and you can rename a preset without saving any edits you've made (if
any). In the left image above, the star in "Preset7 *" indicates that the original Preset7 has been edited.
Even with the new name saved, the star is still there to show that the preset itself has unsaved edits.
These will be lost if you load a different preset before saving this one.
8.1.3.2. Preset Load
The Load icon reveals a drop-down menu of the eight presets plus the Factory preset, a
default you can always use if you want to start with a clean slate.
The Factory preset can't be edited and saved, or overwritten. If you start with the Factory preset and
edit it to fit your needs, you must save the result into one of the eight preset slots.
