Start-up, calibration and operation of the burner

6.1

Notes on safety for the first start-up

The first start-up of the burner must be carried out
by qualified personnel, as indicated in this manual
and in compliance with the standards and regula-

tions of the laws in force.
6.2

Combustion head adjustment

In order to optimise performance, the burner is equipped with a
variable geometry combustion head which operates on the basis
of the delivered output.
The device is connected to the shaft of the servomotor 11)(Fig. 8
on page 13) and, by way of leverage, transmits the axial move-
ment to the cylinder located in the combustion head.
Before starting up the burner, it is advisable to choose the mobile
cylinder stroke on the basis of the maximum output that the burn-
er should deliver, in order to avoid setting a servomotor range
that is too short.
The factory regulation corresponds to the maximum output (cou-
pling position: 8) .

Place the electrode on the ignition pilot observing
the dimensions specified in Fig. 22.
