Treadmill belt and plate lubrication
1. This model of treadmill is factory lubed. Friction of belt and plate may be essential to the treadmill lifetime and efficiency. That's why it needs
to be periodically lubed.
2. It is recommended to check the plate periodically. If you notice the damage to
plate, contact the service.
3. Frequency of lubrication depends on the exploitation conditions.
4. t is recommended to lubricate the plate in accordance to the schedule below:
• low intensity of exploitation (less than 3 hours a week) – once in five months,
• medium intensity of exploitation (3-5 hours a week) – once in two months,
• very intense exploitation (over 5 hours a week) – once a month.
5. It is recommended to use non-fat lubricant.
6. Before starting lubrication, check if the device is unplugged from power source.
Open the container (A), put the end of container with oil deep in the hole (B).
When you put the lubricant to the container, close the container opening
with plug and start the treadmill with speed of 1 km/h, so that the lubricant is
distributed over the entire plate of treadmill belt.
Warning! Each treadmill belt repair has to be done in a professional service.
Treadmill belt centering
1. It is recommended to unplug the treadmill from the power source for 10 minutes after each 2 hours of continuous training.
2. Loose treadmill belt will move with difficulty during running and may cause slipping or falling of the user during exercising. Too much
stretched (tense) treadmill belt may cause a decrease in engine efficiency and create bigger friction between roll and belt.
3. Set the treadmill on the horizontal ground. Start the treadmill with speed of 6-8 km/h. Use hex key 6 mm (64).
• If the treadmill belt moves towards right, take out the right rear plug, twist the adjustment screw on the right side clockwise by 1/4 of spin,
then start to run until the belt is centered (Pic. A).
• If the treadmill belt moves towards left, take out the left rear plug, twist the adjustment screw on the left side clockwise by 1/4 of spin, then
start to run until the belt is centered (Pic. B).
• If the belt was placed in the middle, increase the speed to 16 km/h and watch if belt does not move to one of the sides.
• If the belt still isn't in the middle, repeat above actions until the belt is centered.
• Once in a while regulate the tension of the belt to prevent it from loosening caused by exercising. Take out the rear plugs, twist the left
and right adjustment screws by 1/4 spin clockwise then start the treadmill. Check the belt tension until it is stretched correctly (Pic. C) .
