EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE

We wish to remind you that the Extraordinary Maintenance to be carried out on this type of product must be done obligatorily every year
by qualified maintenance personnel, in order to maintain its functionality, efficiency and comfort.
For any further queries you may have, we invite you to contact the specialised Technical Service Center through your retailer.
Scheduled maintenance must
include:
Cleaning of the flue (with special focus on horizontal segments) and of the turboclean (if present)
Check the flue draught
Cleaning of any deposits in the appliance
Cleaning of turbolcean (if present)
Fan cleaning
Check electric/electronic system integrity
Check of the condition of the internal refractory integrity
Check of the air inlets
Cleaning the flue
Routine flue cleaning depends on the draught, fireplace use, weather conditions and the type of wood used. To clean the flue, it is
necessary to remove the smoke deflector (perform in reverse the operations of phase 8 of point d of paragraph 07.3), remove the smoke
cap (1) according to the following operations (Fig. 1-2-3-4) and remove the turboclean if present (lifting it by a few centimetres and rotating
it by 90 degrees.
It is mandatory to clean the flue every year, by a specialised technician, in autumn before lighting the fireplace.

Cleaning the turboclean
The turboclean cleaning (Fig. 5) is to be done in correspondence with the cleaning of the flue or if there is a bad combustion or smoke outlet
from the door. For the turboclean removal see previous paragraph

WARNING
To carry out these operations, the appliance must be disconnected from the mains; wait until be appliance is cold
and comply rigorously with the safety regulations in force.

Fan cleaning
Remove the fan by following the operations of point b, paragraph 07.3.
Clean the fan and its supporting box from any deposited dust.
Air inlets
Check that the external air intakes are clean and free from any clogged materials. Clean
if necessary.
It is recommended to protect the external air intakes using specific protection netting.
Lift
the
disconnect it from the pivots
(2) and from its supports (3)
(Fig. 2).

Move it towards the
combustion chamber rear
wall (Fig.3).
Rotate it and lower it
to remove it from the
2
combustion chamber (Fig.
4).
Perform these operations in
reverse for assembling it .
