ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Opening the combustion chamber door
a) Opening of the combustion chamber door in "vertical sliding" mode with standard handle
To open the combustion chamber door (in "vertical sliding" mode), grasp the handle (1)
it completely. In case of hot fireplace, use the anti-heat glove.
a) Opening of the combustion chamber door in "vertical sliding" mode with removable handle
To open the combustion chamber door (in "vertical sliding" mode), grasp the removable handle (3)
and lift it completely (Fig.. 4). To close it again, lift it completely.
a) Opening of the combustion chamber door in "hinged" mode
To open the combustion chamber door (in "hinged" mode, for glass cleaning only) hold the lever (5) and turn it (Fig.. 5). Open the door
completely (Fig.. 6). This operation must be performed with cold fireplace.

Fireplace grate cleaning
Make sure the fireplace and the residual ashes are cold. Clean the fire bed from combustion ashes as needed or when necessary (taking
into account that the presence of an ash layer on it contributes to an easier starting).
Glass
Use specific products. Be careful not to use overly aggressive product to avoid ruining the frame paint. Never spray detergents directly
onto the parts to be cleaned.
Do not clean the glass parts when still hot to prevent damaging them.
If the fireplace requires more frequent cleaning, check the flue draught as it may be insufficient.
NOTA
Time between one cleaning and the next is strictly tied to fuel quality. The most suitable cleaning frequency can
only be established a few days after use according to the actual amount of deposited residue and may vary from
recommended Jolly Mec intervals.
