Remove stop plate (1), armature plate (2), distance springs (5), brake
disc (3) and O-ring (14) (O-ring (14) only for ZBA/ZBE/ZBP motors).
Check collared pins (4) and braking surfaces for wear.
IMPORTANT. Replace worn or damaged parts.
"Damaged" should be understood to mean any deformation of stop
plate (1), however small it may be.
Mark "I" on friction plate (14)
Mark on end cap (6)

Fit brake disc (3).
The recess on the outer diameter and the bore hole on stop plate (1) must
be aligned with the mark on end cap (6) when armature plate (2) is fitted.
The machined surface of armature plate (2) is the opposite surface of the
brake disc.
IMPORTANT. Pay attention to the following:
i
Stop plate (1) must not be deformed and must be in flat
contact with armature plate (2) across its entire surface.
Stop plate (1) must not jam between stud screw (4),
sleeve (13) and armature plate (2).
Remove terminal box cover (11).
Unscrew hexagon nut (10) and remove magnet assembly (9).
NOTE. Only for ZBA/ZBE/ZBP motors

O-ring (14) must also be replaced when brake
disc (3) is replaced.
