7.6 Changing the terminal
box position at a later
date

The position of the terminal box on ZB motors must only be changed at a later date
by trained specialist personnel.
Follow the steps described below.
Undo the four retaining bolts between the stator
housing and the system end cap.
Turn the stator housing until the terminal box is
in the required position.
Motor frame size
63, 71, 80, 90A
90B, 100, 112, 132
160, 180A
180B, 200, 225
NOTE. This simplified method cannot be used for motors that have IP55/IP65
i
enclosure, since the recess cannot be properly cleaned and re-sealed.

Pull the stator housing by no more than 3 mm
out of the recess in the end cap.
IMPORTANT. Never fully pull the
i
stator housing out of the recess, as
otherwise the bearing arrangement
will be pulled out of the bearing seat
on the brake end. It would then be
necessary to re-assemble the motor
including the brake.

Tighten the four bolts to the tightening torque
specified in the table.
