Motor supplied with:
• Jumper parts to connect the motor winding with Y or ∆ connection enclosed.
• Brake connected to terminals 1 and 2 of the GU module.
• Terminals 3 and 4 of the GU module free (connect 24 V DC).
• Line operation: GU module connected with the motor winding according to variant A.
• Inverter operation or separate power supply to the brake:

Important: The brake will not function without an external power supply to
terminal 5 of the GU module.
• Separate power supply to the brake:
– GU module not connected to the motor winding.
– Power supply by the customer according to variant B.

∆ connection according to the inverter settings.
Switch-off in the DC circuit
• Switched 24 V DC power supply to control the
internal GU switching relay connected between
terminals 3 and 4.
Switch-off in the AC circuit
• Permanent 24 V DC power supply connected to
terminals 3 and 4 (not switched).
• Contactor contact in the supply line behind
terminal 5.
Motor current switch-off
• Permanent 24 V DC power supply connected to
terminals 3 and 4 (not switched).
