How to Assemble Your Ceiling Fan Blades and Cap

INSTALLATION NOTE
Do not connect fan blades until the fan is completely
installed. Installing the fan with blades assembled may
result in damage to the fan blades.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend the
blades when installing, balancing or cleaning the fan.
Do not insert foreign objects in between the rotating
blades.
1.
Position blade along the motor, aligning blade holes
with holes in the top of the motor assembly flywheel.
Make sure the blade is fully seated against the
flywheel and install serrated head screws with
stainless flat washers from the hardware bag, but
don't fully tighten at this time. (Figure 1)
NOTE: You will find the fan blade set packed in its
own carton and hardware bag in the fan box.
2.
Install and securely tighten all screws with stainless
flat washers at the underside of the blades, then
securely tighten all previously installed screws on top
of motor. (Figure 2)
3.
Attach the plastic cap assembly to the motor
assembly, which is held in place by a magnet.
(Figure 3)
NOTE: You will find plastic cap in fan blade set carton.
WARNING
To avoid injury to you hand, please be careful when
installing the plastic plate to magnet on the motor
assembly as the strength of the magnet will quickly
attract the cap, causing it to snap down, possibly
pinching or crushing your hand.
