Add New Images to Pasted Composite

You may take additional exposures and create a new composite that contains the extra exposures. For
example, if the original exposures of a leg exam did not extend to the ankle, additional exposures to
cover the missed anatomy can be taken then added to a new composite image.
1. Take the additional exposures as described in
2. Create a new pasted composite as described in
3. Adjust pasting, if necessary, as described in
4. Press [APPLY TO IMAGE] to save the composite.
NOTE: If performing more than one projection or series, you must perform these projections in separate
exams. To do this, complete your first projection, close the exam, reselect the patient from the
worklist, select Start Exam and select Append Exam on the pop-up screen to perform the second
paste exam.

Select Images

The Exam/Series palette shows two kinds of series:
Raw images – the individual sub-images that were acquired.
Processed images – one processed image for each raw image plus the pasted composite image
Pasting adds 1 re-processed sub-image for every raw image and 1 pasted composite image to the same
processed series.
