12 Troubleshooting
Problem
The battery charger does not work.
The battery charger stops the charging
process.
The full charge current is not reached.
The charging process is slow.
The battery is no longer charging.
The vehicle does not start.
The LiFePo4 battery does not charge.
The starting battery does not charge.
Possible cause
Insulation faults, breaks or loose con-
nections at the live cables.
A short circuit has been generated.
The battery is defective.
The battery terminals are not connect-
ed correctly.
The battery is significantly sulfated.
The battery is defective.
The battery charger is connected to
the mains. The connected relay pre-
vents the vehicle from starting.
The supplied voltage is too low. The
battery charger indicates the low volt-
age as not safe.
No AC source is available.
Suggested remedy
Check the live cables for insula-
tion faults, breaks or loose con-
nections.
If no error can be found, contact
an authorized service agent.
The battery charger fuse must be
replaced. Contact an authorized
service agent.
Replace the battery.
Check the connections.
Ensure the cable cross-section is
suitable for 30 A.
Check the voltages. Measure
directly at the terminals/their
screws for this purpose.
Replace the battery.
Replace the battery.
