4.4.3 Menu Option - Zero Axis
Zeroing is equivalent to homing in a stepper or DC motor
in that it establishes a datum from which subsequent
position moves can be measured. Unlike these other
motors however, the piezo motor can be zeroed
anywhere along its travel.
Push the CHANNEL SELECT button to select the
required motor channel (or channels), then move each
motor in turn to the required zero position.
Press the MENU button, and use the joystick to scroll
through the menu options.
Press the MENU button to enter the Zero Axis option.
Use the joystick to select the motor channel to be zeroed,
or select Zero All Chan to zero all motor channels at their
present positions.
Press the MENU button to zero the channels and return to
the main display.
The display shows the zeroed position count for the
channel(s) selected.
