Never remove the cover on a power supply or any part that has this label attached. Hazardous
voltage, current, and energy levels are present inside any component that has this label attached.
There are no serviceable parts inside these components. If you suspect a problem with one of
these parts, contact a service technician.
Attention:
• Read "Installation Guidelines" on page 37
you work safely.
• Touch the static-protective package that contains the component to any unpainted metal surface on the
node; then, remove it from the package and place it on a static-protective surface.
Install a power adapter to the enclosure
Procedure
Step 1. Connect the power adapter cable to the bridge cable that connects the adapter and the node.
Step 2. Install the power adapter to the power adapter support bracket of the enclosure.
a. Coil the power adapter cord until length is suitable; then, bundle the cord with the pre-
attached velcro strap and place the bundle in the bracket.
b. Insert the power adapter into the power adapter support bracket of the enclosure.
Important: To contain both the cord and adapter in the bracket, keep the cord bundle flat and
loose.
