Installing a SO-DIMM Memory Module

1. Remove the cover from the chassis by loosening the screw on the bottom
of the cover highlighted in the figure below.
Note: There is no particular order in which memory modules
should be installed in the SO-DIMM slots. It's recommended
that you install the same brand and speed of memory
modules if you want to plug them into both of the slots.

2. With the bottom cover removed, install a memory module in the SO-
DIMM socket. Insert the module into the socket at an approximately
30-degree angle. Push the module down until the clips on both sides of
the socket lock into position. The gold-plated connector on the edge of
the module will almost completely disappear inside the socket.
