2.1 Safety precautions

WARNING
Do not use excessive amounts of liquids for cleaning the Amersham
Imager 680 instrument. This may result in instrument malfunction
or electric shock.
CAUTION
Always use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during
operation and maintenance of Amersham Imager 680.
Protective eyewear
Protective gloves
Protective footware, preferably with steel lining
CAUTION
Turn off the power switch before cleaning the inside of the instru-
ment.
CAUTION
UV lamps in Amersham Imager configurations 680 UV, 680 QC,
and 680 RGB contain mercury, which must be recycled or disposed
of in accordance with local regulations.
NOTICE
Do not use abrasive cleaning materials, such as a scouring pad,
for cleaning. This may cause damage to the instrument.
NOTICE
Dispose of the tablet computer as instructed in its user manual.
