Connecting via the QR code
You can connect the machine with the mobile device by scanning the QR code displayed on the
machine by the mobile device.
Note
To use this feature, Print Utility (for free) is required. For Print Utility, refer to our official website.
You can also set the QR code for connecting Print Utility to the initial display screen from
[System Settings] > [Screen Settings] > [Screen Default].
1.
Tap on [Connect to Print Utility].
The QR code for connecting Print Utility is displayed on the touch panel display.
2.
Open the Wi-Fi settings screen on the mobile device and enable Wi-Fi.
3.
Select [By QR Code] on Print Utility of the mobile device.
4.
Scan the QR code displayed on the machine.

IP Address Settings

IP Address Settings
You need to set the IP address and other network information before using the machine connected
to the network.
Note
When you specify an IP address in IPv6 mode, use the installer of the machine or Internet Services. For
how to start Internet Services, refer to "Launching" (P.167).
1.
Log in to Administrator Mode.
2.
Tap on
> [Device].
3.
Tap on [Network Settings] > [Protocol Settings] > [TCP/IP - Common Settings].
4.
Tap on [IP Mode], and then tap on [Dual Stack], [IPv4 Mode] or [IPv6 Mode].
Note
If your network supports both IPv4 and IPv6, select [Dual Stack].
5.
Tap on [<].
6.
Tap on [TCP/IP - Network Settings], [TCP/IP - Network Settings (Ethernet 1)] or [TCP/IP -
Network Settings (Wi-Fi)] to set the how to acquire the IP address according to your
environment.
The following describes the example of when [IPv4 Mode] is selected in step 4.
7.
Tap on [IPv4 - IP Address Resolution].
8.
Set the method to assign the IP address.
To set the IP address automatically:
1)
Tap on [DHCP/AutoIP], [BOOTP] or [DHCP].
