4.2. Torque Adjustment
Setting the shut off-torque
For setting the shut off-torque you have to unlock the shut off-
clutch.
Therefore push the sensor finder by the hand to the clutch and
hold it.
For a simpler setting you can use the adjustment bushing
461319 (Optional Equipment).
For fine adjustment of the shut off-torque you can held the
spring sleeve by hand.
After unlocking the clutch by push back of the sensor finder the screwdriver
can be adjusted by support of a suitable torque measuring device (see leaflet
D3020).
The required torque for the driver can be adjusted externally as follows:
1.
Disconnect Screwdriver from air supply.
2.
Insert hand screwdriver through the slot of the clutch bearing into the
half-round bore of the lock ring. (If necessary, turn clutch using bit)
3.
By turning the hand screwdriver clockwise, the torque is reduced and by
turning it counter-clockwise, the torque is increased.
For the verification of the final torque adjustment we would like to recommend
a screw joint analysis. We offer the screw joint analysis as a service to you.
