7.14 Performing a test run

WARNING
Risk of injury from moving, cutting and sharp
parts!
Crushing, cutting and punctures are possible.
If possible, only change settings when the
machine is switched off.
When setup is complete, perform a test run to check the function-
ality of the machine. To this end, adjust the machine to the sewing
material requirements.
To do so, read the corresponding chapters in the  Operating
Instructions. Read the corresponding chapters in the  Service
Instructions in order to make adjustments to the machine if the
sewing results do not conform to the requirements.
To perform a test run:
1.
Insert a new needle ( p. 22).
2.
Wind on the hook thread, ( p. 37).
3.
Insert the bobbin ( p. 40).
4.
Thread the hook thread ( p. 40).
5.
Thread the needle thread ( p. 26).
6.
Set the thread tensions to the sewing material being sewn
( p. 42).
7.
Set the needle thread regulator to the sewing material being
sewn ( p. 44).
8.
Set the sewing foot pressure to the sewing material being
sewn.
9.
Set the sewing foot stroke to the sewing material being sewn.
10. Set the stitch length.
11. Transfer the desired quick function from the push button to
the favorite button ( p. 49).
12. Start the sewing test at low speed.
13. Gradually increase the speed until the working speed is
reached.
