Stopping the Machine

To stop the machine, move the motion-control levers
to neutral and then to the N - position,
EUTRAL LOCK
disengage the blade-control switch (PTO), and turn
the ignition key to the O position.

Set the parking brake when you leave the machine;
refer to Setting the Parking Brake (page 19). Remove
the key from the ignition switch.
CAUTION
Children or bystanders may be injured if they
move or attempt to operate the machine while
it is unattended.
Always remove the ignition key and set the
parking brake when leaving the machine
unattended, even if just for a few minutes.

Adjusting the Height-of-Cut

Using the Transport Lock
The transport lock has 2 positions, and is used with
the deck-lift pedal. There is a L position and

an U position for the transport position of the
NLOCK
mower deck (Figure 24).
