Microsoft Windows Removable Storage Manager
(RSM)
RSM requires a driver for the library. The RSM driver is only needed for DPM
environments or backups that send robotic commands through the OS, such as DPM.
Spectra Logic is currently testing this driver. Contact Spectra Logic (see Contacting
Spectra Logic on page 4) for more information about the RSM driver for the library.

Remote Access Using Remote Library Controller (RLC)

Maximum Sessions

Do not start and run more than two (2) RLC sessions simultaneously. Heavy usage
causes a Page cannot be displayed error.

Supported Browsers

RLC is only supported on:
Microsoft's Internet Explorer versions 6.0 and above
Mozilla Firefox versions 1.0.7 and above

When accessing the library remotely through a web browser,
do not use the Enter key on your keyboard when entering
information in any of the text fields. Various web browsers
handle the Enter key differently, causing inconsistent behavior
in the BlueScale RLC interface. Click the onscreen buttons in
BlueScale screens instead of using your keyboard.
