Spectra T50 Library Firmware
Enhancements
The Spectra T50 library now supports LTO-4 Fibre Channel drives.
Note:
At this time, LTO-4 drives cannot receive drive firmware upgrade through
the CAN interface. To work around this, users can upgrade drives using a
firmware tape or the SCSI interface.
Note:
When upgrading a drive's firmware from the host, you need to monitor
the Drive or Drive Detail screen to determine when the operation has
completed. Select Refresh to see when the drive firmware version has
changed. Until the version is updated on the screen, you should not
attempt to use the library.
Issues Resolved
DCM timeout of pass-through to ADI no longer loses command with host error.
Editing two loop IDs in a partition no longer fails.
LCM no longer locks up when editing/creating partition.
DCM no longer sends invalid data to LTO-4 drive on soft reset.
The library now displays a message when tape alert flags indicate that a drive
should be reset.
Correct sense set now given on storage access.
Correct sense set now given on TAP door closing.
HP drive mode pages now correctly change after resizing the library.
